Two timelines is company, three’s a crowd.
Golden State is trying to get three different bodies to rotate in sync but it’s impossible.
Golden State wants to preserve and extend the legacy of Stephen Curry and by extension, Draymond Green, while developing the young talent for the future and also having a playoff-viable veteran rotation.
This would be possible if all forces were pulling in the same direction, in the same orbit around a mass.
But they’re not.
